这一刻，向自己的内心发问：作为一个青年，What do you need？
The only constant in this world is change itself. As young adults, it’s naturally crucial to us that this world keeps on becoming more peaceful, more inclusive, more righteous, and we are becoming more capable of controlling the course of our own lives. But virtually, sometimes we felt ourselves more like a rookie sailor, who’s been pushed forward in confusion and panic by the powerful waves of life, who’s been passively and unwittingly shaped by the journey. When we finally realize that it’s time to change ourselves, to become a captain to decide where we’re heading, we need to first ask ourselves, what exactly are the changes that we seek, and what will these changes bring to the world.
“You always need to raise questions to live in this world,” said Yang Lan, a well-known TV presenter and successful entrepreneur, in her biography. By asking questions, we are not only exploring the world, but also getting to know ourselves better. It could be that the questions we ask ourselves are more significant than those we pose to others, and the simple questions are more difficult to answer than the complicated ones.
Now, it’s time to ask yourself, as a young adult, what do you need?
You need W.H.Y.
Who: We need to think about who we are, and whom we are going to serve. That’s the first step to find our self-identity and give back to the society.
How: We need to know how to achieve personal development and change the world for the better. Without right direction and proper methods, ideas usually end up nowhere.
Youth: We need support from our peers and a team to work with. A person walks faster but a team reaches further. Besides, nothing is more touching than sincere relationships between young hearts.
